Research Network on Malignant Lymphomas

The research network on malignant lymphoma has brought together the leading research groups and medical care centres engaged in work on malignant lymphoma. Their cooperation is aimed at pooling the know-how of experts and at accelerating the transfer of research results to patient care. Recent information on malignant lymphoma is being analysed and made available to both doctors and patients.

The network is based on studies carried out by German lymphoma research groups, which have led to significant progress in the diagnosis and therapy of malignant lymphoma over the last few years and are considered to be exemplary in the field of cancer research. The twelve individual projects of the research network have developed from the topics addressed by the research groups (study centres, biometrics, reference centres of pathology and radiotherapy, hospitals and private practices). The projects address issues which can only be tackled in close interdisciplinary cooperation.
